Biography: Doug Wakefield, President of Best Minds, Inc. has been in the financial industry for 22
years. Doug received his CFP in 1988, his Masters in Estate Planning in 1997, but his
greatest learning has occurred since the spring of 2003. Since that time he has read over
50,000 pages and has written more 600 pages, citing more than 1000 references, that
are now in the public domain.
His industry research paper, Riders on the Storm, is one of the few documents written on
the topic of short selling. He writes our monthly research newsletter, The Investor's Mind.
He is married and has 3 sons.
