Biography: Mr. Schieneman is the President and founder of Review Less, an e-discovery consulting and review organization dedicated to improving document review through better technology and workflows. He is a serial entrepreneur specializing in the legal field.
Karl is a national expert in electronic discovery and electronic records management. He is also a frequent speaker nationally on topics related to legal staffing and electronic discovery. He created ESIBytes which is the leading electronic discovery podcast in the country and before that hosted a quarterly national audio broadcast for BNA on these topics. He has spoken at conferences and written numerous articles and book chapters on this topic.
He is also the creator of the 4th C Electronic Discovery Cabernet an Electronic Discovery wine modeled on the Zubulake decision and personally autographed by Laura Zubulake and Judge Scheindlin.
Another tool created by Karl is Discovery Land an Electronic Discovery Modeling Board Game. Best practice game for E-Discovery process created by combining tips from over 50 national electronic discovery experts.
In 2001, he created StaffRite a Project Modeling software powered by Altman Weil data.

Mr. Schieneman has fourteen years of experience in the legal field as an attorney and a legal staffing expert. He formed Legal Network, a legal staffing company with operations in Pittsburgh and Cleveland which was ranked on the Inc. 500 list for fastest growing companies in the country in 2001, 2003 and 2004, won the Pittsburgh Business Times Pittsburgh 100 as the fastest growing services company in Pittsburgh in 2001 and 2004, and won a People Matter Award in 2003 for HR Excellence. Legal Network was purchased in 2004 by Special Counsel, a global legal staffing company owned by MPS Group where Karl was a Vice President until June 2007 and was a President's Club winner in 2006 for making Pittsburgh Special Counsel's fastest growing location. Karl continues to assist Special Counsel as an outside consultant in the field of electronic discovery.
Karl is part owner and founder of Professional Closing Network, a former division of Legal Network which manages attorney staffed real estate closings and ancillary services nationally. Professional Closing Network is the leader in its field of managing attorney closings and also a Inc 5000 winner in 2008 and 2010. Karl was part owner and founder of Streaming Placements, a video interviewing company focusing on the hiring of law students.
Karl also founded Entrepreneurial Lifelines , a free mentoring service for start up businesses in Western Pennsylvania which matches established entrepreneurs with start up businesses. Karl also helped to launch DevHouse Pittsburgh, a vehicle to network software developers and strengthen Pittsburgh's hi-tech community.
He also practiced law for five years at Marcus & Shapira a Pittsburgh law firm involved in national securities and fraud litigation and worked as a Big 5 Accountant at Price Waterhouse where he won the Pittsburgh officeÃ????Ã???Ã??Ã?Â¢Ã?????Ã?????s Client Service award.

He has a dual degree MBA / JD from Carnegie Mellon University and the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Law where he graduated Cum Laude and on Law Review.
