Biography: Raised by her grandmother, Eloise Harrell, Lanesa Stubbs became an entrepreneur at an early age. Watching her grandparents conduct business as well as assisting with administrative responsibilities, birthed in Lanesa both the curiosity and potential to become a great leader. Unfortunately, while outside the home, Lanesa was also exposed to the drug and thug life culture of which she soon became a victim. After a downward spiral of criminal activity, she was sentenced to 4 years in prison.
While incarcerated Lanesa had time to really think and grow in areas of her life that ultimately would have been impossible had she remained in her current lifestyle. After seven months in prison, Lanesa later gave her life to Christ and began to make some drastic changes in her life. From that point on, she was determined to become successful in life, as she soon received her GED, became certified in Business Administration and served as teacherâ??s aid in the Business Administration Department teaching Microsoft Office courses to inmates at Broward Correctional Institute.
Lanesa did not stop there as she continued on a fast pace of self education and empowerment upon her release from prison. Several doors began to open for her including: speaking at ministry workshops and local womenâ??s conferences and teaching various subjects at Cooper Career Institute for a period of two years. These courses included, Personal Development and Goal Setting, Keyboarding I & II, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
She later continued her education at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale majoring in Graphic Design. Armed with an inextinguishable passion for entrepreneurship, Lanesa eagerly started her own business. Failing twice before becoming successful Lanesa now has her own Graphic & Web Design Business of which she designs print media and websites for small businesses and non profit organizations both locally on a national level.
Lanesa recently authored a book called "Maximize Your Singleness" with the purpose of empowering single men and women from the inner cities of America and those incarcerated, with the hope that they to can achieve the impossible. Lanesaâ??s desire and passion to want and see men and women climb the latter of success is not only something she strives to achieve daily, but has dedicated a portion of her life in writing and recording audio content for those who wish to embark on the path of self-empowerment.
Lanesa gives all of the credit to God for her success! She knows that without him she is powerless and with him she has all the blessings and favor of God. She continues to impact lives every where she goes with the testimony of what God has done in her life as well as the lives of others she has come into contact with. Many persons have been transformed because of Lanesaâ??s testimony and ability to motivate and teach strategies on how to walk in your calling as well as tap in into your inner gifts and skills.
