Biography: As president of Strut-N-Rut Outdoor Adventures, Inc., I am writing this to inform you of an exciting new endeavor. We are an organization with tremendous goals and dreams to bring the total outdoor world in reach for underprivileged, physically challenged, and terminally ill children. Our goal is to allow children to discover every aspect of the great outdoors, from hiking to hunting and all that lies in-between. We will strive to teach the importance of conservation for our environment, quality animal management, safety, and above all the absolute love of the great outdoors. At Strut-N-Rut Outdoor Adventures, Inc. we feel that there is a great need to show and teach our younger generation about the fantastic opportunities and the adrenalin-pumping action that awaits them in the great outdoors. It is truly amazing how catching their first fish or seeing a deer or turkey for first time can excite and effect a youngsterâ??s mind and attitude. With that in mind we believe that this positive attitude can bring around healing for both the mind as well as the body. Even terminally ill patients have shown remarkable improvements when they are taken away from the routine care of hospitals and doctors and are shown that there is much more to life and that they can participate in it. Once again, it is our goal to fulfill each childâ??s dream from the simplest wish of a horseback ride for a physically challenged boy or girl up to a trip out West to hunt Whitetail Deer with a terminally ill child. We do have a plan to reach these goals. However it does take the help and participation from individuals and companies much like yours to make it a reality for these children. Part of our plan here at Strut-N-Rut is to raise funds by filming a weekly hunting and fishing show and airing it on the Sportsmanâ??s channel and the Pursuit channel starting in January 2009. The show will air three times a week for a thirteen week series and will be seen in over 17 million homes. We filmed a portion of a special show on March 15th and 16th with a young boy by the name of Joseph Guthrie who suffers from Spinal Bifida. This disorder confines Joe to a wheelchair, however that did not stop us from taking him on his first hunt and harvesting his first turkey. On March 20th and 21st we filmed our first hunting adventure at the Millwood Lodge in Dublin, Ga. We also have trips to Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Kansas, Montana and Mississippi planned for this year.
