Overview: I have practiced, played and studied Tai Chi daily for 24 years and am a senior student of Stan Swartz in Pittsburgh.
Biography: I have practiced, played and studied Tai Chi daily for 24 years and am a senior student of Stan Swartz in Pittsburgh. I have attended numerous camps and workshops over the years, mostly with Ben Lo. I also participated in several early Taste of China competitions and enjoy attending the open pushhands sessions in Washington organized by Joanne Chang.
I am married, with three grown children, the youngest of whom is now a freshman in college. A writer by profession, I am a published novelist and worked for years in the fields of travel and marketing. I have also produced and hosted several long-running series for public radio. I am presently travel editor of The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, as well as its primary podcaster.
