Overview: I'm a music journalist specializing in artists that recorded during the 1980s. I like to look at it as being a hunter, filter and dispenser of this knowledge that I pass on in different media formats.
Biography: I started off in newspaper journalism. Tried my hand recording with my band while training as a disc jockey at a local (Las Vegas) college radio station. A decade ago, I resumed my journalistic endeavors with the weekly 80's Nuts Newsletter. This led to the creation of http://www.80smusiccentral.com . In 2005 we launched a radio-friendly version of the newsletter for radio called the 80's Nuts Update which ran for a year at 80's Airwaves, an online radio station. In late 2006 we entered podcasting with Talking 80s Music. We then launched Talking80sMusic.com to help keep track of past episodes and be a little more interactive during the week.
