Biography: My name is Dori Friedland, and I am the author and creator of Weight Loss Moments. What are my qualifications for talking to people about losing weight, exercise, and emotional growth? Well, it's not my Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management. That qualifies me for putting out the best Thanksgiving dinners in the neighborhood.
I am an expert in being a human being. I have been one since I was born. I am sharing with you my experiences regarding my lifelong conflict with being overweight, hating to exercise, and unhealthy emotional patterns. Along the way, I have had many opportunities to work intensively in the areas of exercise, ways of eating, and the often difficult path of emotional growth. All of this was experienced in a weight loss setting, which is probably mostly due to the fact that I have struggled with weight most of my life. Over twenty years ago, I embarked on a journey to change my body, my diet, and bring healthy emotional experiences into my life.
When a person loses weight and improves their health, it's never due to just one component. It's not just exercise. It's not just food. It's not just willpower. Various degrees of each of these components must be present. It is my wish for you that you will hear something that you can relate to and find useful in your life. Let's put my extensive real-life experience in diet and exercise and my well-spent money and time in therapy to good use for us all.
