Biography: Greg has adopted a unique approach to the service of his profession. The first is as Executive Editor of The CPA Technology Advisor -- "the independent voice for accountants' technology"; and, just to insure he stays completely current with the trials and tribulations of the practicing accountant, is as Senior Manager of Tax and Technology Consulting with the Top 25 firm of Eide Bailly, LLP.
Greg served as Vice President of Product Strategy at Thomson Creative Solutions until early 2004. Prior to joining CSI in 1999, Greg was the Tax & Technology partner at LaFollette, Jansa, Brandt & Co., LLP, in Sioux Falls, SD. The firm, which he founded in 1980, is the one of the largest largest local firms in the trade area.
Greg completed his professional training at Augustana College and is a graduate of and staff lecturer at the AICPA/University of Illinois National Tax Education Program. He Chairs the AICPA's prestigious CITP Credential Committee and serves on the TECH+ Planning Committee and the Top Techs Task Force.
Greg is a national speaker for CPA societies, state bar associations, industry groups, and computer user groups; has published numerous articles on financial services and computer systems management.
