Biography: Johannes Ernharth (of Vigilant Investor) is a 16 year veteran of the financial services industry and a consultant. Experience has taught him to think outside of the box regarding conventional Wall Street economic and political wisdom. A former officer, (including two terms as Chair) of the Libertarian Party of Pittsburgh, and ex-Peace Corps volunteer in Africa, Johannes brings a different perspective to the airwaves. A student of history and the often maligned Austrian School of economics, Johannes is both conservative and liberal depending on the issue, defying conventional right / left politics.
