Biography: DR. CONNIE HEBERT is a nationally acclaimed teacher of teachers & parents. She serves as a national literacy consultant and author. Dr. Hebert is a senior national consultant for Staff Development for Educators and professor of reading for Nova Southeastern University. Experience in the field includes a position as director of reading (K-12), elementary classroom teacher (seven districts), reading recovery teacher (three districts), and adjunct instructor for 3 state colleges and Lesley University.
Connie is the author of Catch a Falling Reader, Catch a Falling Teacher (2nd ed.), Catch a Falling Writer (2009) and 4 sets of Sight Word Phrases. She has presented for educators and parents in 47 states and at national IRA, Reading Recovery, NAESP, MRA, WSRA, and European Reading conferences.
