I absolutely LOVE the Show Rich! - Reviewer: MarkEaster 08/09/17 07:38 PM EDT
Full Comment: It really shows that you are completely and utterly stoked about all things Scuba! I could only wish that you'd open a franchise Dive Store here in Virginia that shared your business model/enthusiasm! Almost (except for the COLD Weather) makes me want to move to Michigan! Keep up the good work on Podcast, Dive shop and White Star Quarry!

Lots of scuba talk - Reviewer: Paulmal 08/09/16 08:51 PM EDT
Full Comment: This is a great show, lots of great information about diving and some things not scuba. I highly recommend this to any diver or want to be diver. e-mail your questions and they will be discussed. Great program. See you in the chat room.

Great Podcast! - Reviewer: LeeClark 06/10/14 05:36 PM EDT
Full Comment: DiverSync bills itself as the netcast and podcast for scuba divers, a role that it fills quite well. Having been an avid listener for over a year, I have listened through the highs and lows of each podcast. Rich Synowiec, the host of DiverSync and the actual owner of a dive store, is immediately a likeable guy that most divers would feel comfortable diving with. Rich offers his experience and knowledge to anyone living in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area. Listen to his dive stories and adventures and sometimes you feel you need to catch the next flight to Michigan just to join in. I should know, I donâ??t know how many times I have wanted to join him on a dive, and finally after a bit of on air coaxing, I signed up for a dive trip for next year! Rich is always saying that if you donâ??t make your dive plans well in advance, the dive season will come and go and you will have been left high and dry. He is right on the money. I donâ??t know how many times I have said I will get around to signing up for a dive trip but never do. Rich interacts throughout the podcast with members of his chatroom. Sometimes I feel as though I am being left out because I can never join in during his regular podcast, and have to catch up on episodes at a later date through downloads. I always feel left out of the jokes, and the bantering back in forth between Rich and his chatroom. However, Rich does spend most episodes warning you that you need to be in the chatroom to understand all that is going on. I just donâ??t think he understands how much bigger his audience is than those faithful few that are hanging out in the chatroom with him each episode. If there is a low spot to divers Synch, I feel it is due to the fact that it is a one man show. Regardless, it does show in some of the production work for DiverSync, but considering how much time and work must go into each episode, Rich should get cut some slack. He even puts the show on while he is obviously feeling well under the weather. Rich does take way too many commercial breaks, which according to him are to go and refresh your drink. But if anyone actually drank that much in an hour, you would miss most of the podcast relieving yourself in the bathroom. As mention above, Rich actually owns a couple of dive stores. He is not the kind of guy who just gives advice because he heard it from somewhere; he actually walks the walk and talks the talk. If Rich doesnâ??t like a product or itâ??s Rep., he will let definitely let you know about it. He will though, give away a lot of free endorsements on his show if he likes a product. Hey Rich, everybody knows Shearwater makes the best computers. What took you so long to find out? To sum it all up, if you are a scuba diver and not listening to â??DiverSynchâ?? you should be. Give Rich a little time to grow on you and my guess is he will. Like any small business, Rich has struggled the past few years, but has mananaged to come up with a couple of novel ideas to help him get through. Scuba Crap is his place for getting rid of old unwanted dive gear. Listen to any episode of DiverSync and the concept of scuba crap gets explained to you. I wish I lived in Michigan, (Well not really, does anyone really want to dive in water that spends most of the time at or below freezing?) because I would definitely make Rich my dive center, and would want to just hang out and dive with him. This is even in a river with near zero visibility as Rich is so fond of doing. Hang in there Rich; I see good things ahead for you. Lee R. Clark San Diego Area, CA.

+1 episode, sorry I missed it live - Reviewer: Dave Tonneman 05/09/14 03:06 PM EDT
Full Comment: Awesome tale of the Detroit! Wish I had been able to make it live, the chat room is always a blast! Maybe next week, had to service the compressor. Thanks for giving me an hour of dry dive time every week, it really helps during those long surface intervals!

Great podcast - Reviewer: fish149 11/16/12 11:50 AM EST
Full Comment: I look forwards to listening to each episode! It's great to hear about the places others get to dive. The podcast is entertaining and educational, love it!

Fun to listen! With great info. - Reviewer: JohnPananos 12/06/11 08:11 PM EST
Full Comment: I enjoy listening to DiverSync! Rich may repeat himself but, I like that, it makes it get through my thick head. Truly, I think he only did it in the first few podcasts. Keep up the great work. I now have a new dive state to put on the list!
