I posted a 9 minute Talk Shoe show on my website explaining why. www.redyankeepress.com Basically, she is exhausting. My reasons are beyond editorial, but that is the main reason. We agreed at the start that we would do the program a certain way, and last night she said that she wanted to do things another way. I just do not see any point and purpose of doing a program the way that she wishes to do so, so I am not going to. I really tried to explain this to her, and she really didn't want to understand what I was saying, and really didn't want to listen, and instead basically repeatedly tried to persuade me on how her way is the right way, and how she has to do the show that way, because that is what her listeners want. I tried to explain to her that she basically only has 10 listeners or so, and that it really does not matter what they want, that if they want something else, they can do their own show, but her repeated response was to tell me that her listeners do not like me or the way I am doing the show, and that she had to give them what they wanted. She was literally astonished when I replied that I really do not care what her listeners think, I am not doing this to be loved by them, and that she was wasting her time devoting her life toward trying to please people on the internet who she will never meet. She thinks these people are her friends, and she does not grasp, or more accurately does not want to grasp, that she does not have the appropriate perspective and context on this and many other things. The reason why I am telling you all of this, is because one of the many issues she has is with you, and I could not successfully resolve it. Her unyielding position is that she wants to devote her time toward fighting you, until as she says, "He is put in jail for his crimes." She is firmly convinced that you are a government agent, and thus the source of her personal misery, and she is unmovable in that position. I tried to bring her around to reason, by just stipulating to some of her arguments, for example, if you were a government agent, tormenting Christie because you were ordered to, then how is she ever going to have you put in jail for doing it? It is all just absurd and unhealthy. Even if she were to continue with the current format, I was going back and forth as to whether to continue, because it was just too time consuming to constantly address this and other issues with her, work full time, and then do a show every night. Let's be honest, it is just one issue of many, and there are far too many. I am not going on with her. Since she didn't want to hear what I was trying to tell her, and instead sought to debate me over what I think and want to do, as if she knows what I think and want to do better than I do, I wish to have her discover my intentions when I just simply do not call in on Monday. Just know that whatever agreement that I sought to reach between the two of you is non existent, because she does not wish to reconcile anything. For whatever reason she has, she does not want peace, never mind with you, she does not want to be at peace with herself. She is firmly resolved toward fighting you to her last breath, and you should govern yourself accordingly. Eric
