Full Comment: Well Folks ... here it is. Just listened to the latest call by Ted R, President of GV and what he said, just about sums up the face of the market for any of these cell phone programs. Whether it is FDI or the new TelFund Deal or Traverus that is a travel program (there's only about a ton of those now) that is about to venture into cell phones ... the only way they can MAKE MONEY on it, is either mark up the phones (if they sell them ... TelFund doesn't) OR they have to add on SERVICES ... ala VOIP and charge extra for it OR they have to move you into PAID DISTRIBUTOR LEVELS (ala TelFund) ... or they DON'T MAKE ANY MONEY. The "rub" on it is.... where's the SAVINGS if that's the case? Answer... basically straight from Ted with GV who is doing his BEST to avoid talking about Buzzirk and Mobile Phones, is this. The latest "buzz" is for companies to try and get you to believe VOIP is the big answer. And there's lots of VOIP enabled phones. But, it relies on being able to find WiFi hot spots or paying for a DATA plan on your phone anyway ... (extra cost) and ADDING VOIP (more extra cost). Bottom line ... GV is going to keep "testing" other avenues of communication. For us ... we're still trading forex (you can check that out if you like at http://getinforex.com just remember, we're TRADERS not webmasters) and with this round of info, here is my advice. If you're turned on by travel think Traverus ... if you like other "stuff" that you can touch and feel think Global Verge. If you like "services" like TeleDoc and such, FDI. If you just want to be able to send money with your phone, TelFund. But from an out and out savings on your cell phone with blistering magical speed and "flat rate" --- go and get the best plan your favorite provider has and call it a day. I felt real passion on last night's call and with checks in hand things may be turning around. One thing for sure, we don't need people marketing their new companies on our dime. Through all of this I have never seen a negative word from Global Verge reps toward any of these other companies and I am still proud to be involved! By the way Jim, I am a female. Thanks. I have 2 questions for all of those who are jumping on the FDI bandwagon. How much residual income are they paying you per activation? As a wireless professional, that is a very important question. Also, can you see the FDI program being sold in a storefront? I have not been able to find out the answer to the 1st question and I say no to the 2nd question because of the entire program involved with FDI. If an MLM company wants to ever get credibility in the wireless arena, they have to have a program that the general public will want - not just MLM reps- and that has a phenominal residual program. I have not seen anything so far that would make me switch companies and I am willing to spend a few more $39.95s to wait it out!!! As someone who has been on all sides of the wireless business, I wanted to say a few words. 15 years ago there were only 2 companies - Cellular One and Ameritech. To start my Ameritech Dealership I spent $30,000 to build out my storefront which I paid $2500 per month to rent. I had to rent a phone system, fax and credit card machines plus pay 2 employees and lots of insurance. In total my expenses were $10,000 per month ( and I had a small operation). Before I could start business I needed to also pre-buy inventory. start advertising and hope people came in. The company provided very little assistance and my area manager visted once every 3-4 weeks. 2 years into it, we went from Analog to Digital and you want to talk about phone problems- how would you like to sell crappy phones and crappy service and be the one that customers yelled at every day. We had phones on back order, and no one at corporate knew what to do. 5 years into and with a base of 3000 customers (not counting all the ones that left) they lowered my monthly residuals from $5,000 per month to $4,000 just because they could. So in 2000 I sold the business with no way to keep my residuals. Now, after that, one company I joined was ACN and they talked about adding Energy services and were going to go global. Hey, ACN reps, how you guys doing on that so far? I also sold Lightyear Local and long distance service 7 years ago. Did you Lightyear Wireless guys know the company doesn't specialize in wireless? My point is that I am very proud to be part of what will happen in the next few months with Buzzirk Mobile and I know that in this industry, there is no company that can throw stones. If you prefer to wait for the phones than do so, if you are ready to fly than don't hold back and if you have quit, than good luck - you are going to need it!!!

I am in both feet, body, heart, head and all! Anyone who has been watching would know that the sim cards have been shipped and it is only a matter of time before these companies bring the products to the public. These items take time to manufacture and if you act like microsoft and send out defective product there is no faster way to lose market share before it even gets started. please have the patience to wait for a fully tested functional product that is well manufactured. Full Comment: I find these reviews very interesting. You can see who the real leaders are for sure. Here is what I know and have seen. I know from past experiences that the weak weed themselves out and this isn't for everyone. I have personally met Ruth and Mark. In fact I drove from Denver to SLC in less then 6 hours to meet them and see the phone close up. They took the time to make sure my team had their answers. They made sure that they were not miss representing the company. They were tired yet stuck around till we were asked to leave the conference room due to other bookings, and then chatted with people in the parking lot. They truly do work till they pass out! They have that passion and drive! They do care and want to make a difference! This is truly the best opportunity I have come across! Who am I to judge character. I am that redhead that has gone through the school of hard knocks. I am that guy who has made paid tons and lost tons of money for that better quality of life (7 figures). I have paid over 80,000 in education, DVD's, seminars, and misc things. For $75 $40 a month still a no brainier. I have learned more about network marketing here then most other places. If you can't handle "no" and fear rejection... Get out of the pool and quit peeing in it. Business minded people around the world in higher places then I will share here. I have called personally and asked their opinion (Big names VERY big names) Gave me the thumbs up and the green light.

Now that a new management team has been put in place, and they all collectively have decades of experience in the mlm industry in all areas, and even have the top mlm lawyer in the industry on board, we should allow them the opportunity to prove their capabilities. Full Comment: I would take a Good long read of this interview with Ben Piilani. Global Verge, in no way has exclusive marketing rights and Piilani even says that they are looking at independent retailers.One with 20,000 locations and another with 6,000 locations with real store fronts. Is anyone else thinking "Best Buy" http://blog.laptopmag.com/zer01-mobile-ceo-addresses-scam-and-vaporware-allegations. The sad thing is that if this technology does indeed work, The Global Verge accociates have destroyed alot of its credability with all of the hype they have generated with there bogus recruitment websties. Zer01 isnt helping matters either. The fact of the matter is someone needs to demonstrate a phone working on this network. Paliini says he was using a phone on the network last week at th eMobile Beat 2009 conference. How about Throwing up a You ube Video demonstrating the service there Ben. If Zero1 had demonstrated and clearly indicated what was possible with this service maybe global Verge wouldnt have screwed up as badly as they have. Show US that the technology works and what its can do and it will sell itself.

Full Comment: While I don't think Global Verge is intentionally trying to "scam" anyone, in light of their offer to refund money and allow folks to get out AND their continued efforts to build infrastructure (which COSTS them money). I DO think that they are FAILING big time. This TalkShoe page is the companies official communication page and for them to have all this negative information on here, and not address it, is horrible. By NOT addressing concerns, they simply validate them. From what I have seen so far, it seems like Global Verge is well intentioned, but incompetent and/or too overwhelmed to manage effectively. From the lack of "delivery" by Buzzirk, I suspect that what is happening is that Buzzirk is incapable of delivering and GV is coming to that realization. I really don't think EITHER company is intentionally trying to "scam" anyone... after all, I assume that Buzzirk isn't making money from people signing up in Global Verge and since Global Verge is refunding people's money and allowing them to cancel without repercussions, they obviously aren't trying to "scam" anyone. I doubt that the folks in EITHER company would put in the effort that they have, spend the time and money they have spent, for no reason. There is no monetary gain for them. I think this is just a case of good intentions gone wrong and a "premature launch." Perhaps they will pull it together after all, but they need to start with some serious damage control. I'm still cautiously hopeful but, for now, I've taken them up on their offer and cancelled. I think Global Verge has the makings of a good company and, if they get some better products to sell, I'll be back.

There is no competition from these other companies, they are mere resellers of wireless service. They know that. That is why they will go to any means to smear US. Is the service real? Of course it is. Has the company had problems with the huge growth? Yep. Is it a scam? Hmmm...not a very successful scam if they are willing to give your money back, huh? Having been in many MLM's in my years, I have found there are mainly 2 kinds of people who bash a company. One is the competition, especially when they know they are defeated. And the second is usually the people who signed up, paid their money and sat back in a rocking chair on their porch, eating cheetos, waiting for the mailman to drop off their checks. These people think that money will be GIVEN to them just for joining. And when it doesn't happen, it is the company's fault. So people, if you are in now, stick it out...or don't, I really don't care. I know that when the service comes live, the $75 I spent to get in will have been well worth it. If it were easy, everybody would do it. So go get your money back if you want...I hear there are ALOT of openings in Lightyear, ACN and 5Linx, (because we KNOW they are joining us) go resell some wireless service. Me...I will be right here.

WOW, I mean really guys is this a well established company or a start up we are dealing with??? Obviously you negative Nancy's have zero experience dealing with start ups. If you expected everything to run flawlessly from the get then you have set yourself up for heartache. As far as the AG is concerned, GV does not pay any initial signing bonus's, there is no outrageous start up fee to join, you more than triple the value of what your getting for your monthly dues in all the services you get for being a member and customers will take care of themselves when the mobile service rolls out to the public. Do alittle more homework guys before acting like you know what your talking about. As far as postponing the deadline for commissions, would you rather them rush and get it wrong or take their time, do it the right way, and prevent even more back lash and frustration? Guys, To be as frank as possible, I personally would rather them get the phones out, do a video, what ever you guys are demanding, AFTER they have sorted out all the growth problems. Last thing I want is to receive a working phone, show it around to all, then have another 30,000 distributors dumped in on top of everything currently going on. You think they have their hands full now?? What happens when you throw 30,000 plus before a phone gets in our hands, obviously any one who is rational can understand the VERY likely possibility another 30,000 will join in close to 1 week from that point the phones introduced. WOW, Throw these guys a bone. How could they of anticipated THIS much growth when THIS much growth has never been even remotely experienced in any real world start-up. You think you could do better? They have the best of the best handling our back office. Even though you might think and be used to everything in your lives happening instantaneously, the FACT of the matter is that it doesn't. And again, if you expected everything to run seamlessly from the get, you need a reality check SIR. You say, lets get the training going? Be patient. It will happen in due time. If the training is for the reps to sell to the public, then I'd say focus on getting our commission run sorted out correctly then work on the rest. You can't have all at the same time. Also, everyone here who wants this to work, ask yourself this? AM I HELPING OR MAKING IT HARDER on these guys to do their job? Lastly, If this was a SCAM(Shame on you guys!) then would they be REFUNDING YOU YOUR MONEY BACK so that the other Merchant service, who can better handle the volume, can then re-charge your account? When you click 1 by the 39.95 or the 99.95, you are purchasing the services listed. This makes you a customer. This is why an AG would not have a problem with GV. You probably had good intentions and seem to understand it correctly but the customer comment is invalid as we are already customers purchasing services of real value. Also, your comment on faxing a phone is theoretically impossible and I am assuming that was sarcasm. This is not a time for sarcasm as this is a serious matter we are dealing with. As soon as phones are available, that will take care of the internal consumption issue so many MLM's have to deal with.

The potential is astonishing, but the waiting is not doing the product justice. One way to limit all the hype about what this phone and the infrastructe can do is get it out to those of use ready to sell it and show it. The 499 for a pharos is not that bad and for what you are getting is a comparable price to those other phones on the market that do the same thing, unless you sign your life away by a two year contract :-(.... I do know this is a fluid delivery and things can change but some solid deployment dates would be nice!!
