Banter with PURPOSE! - Reviewer: Yogizilla 12/15/15 01:40 PM EST
Full Comment: Podcasts are notorious for mostly being copycat brocasts and pointless banner BUT The XD Experience has banter with PURPOSE! I like how Michael and Gidget derail themselves but always return to the main point at hand. It's a good balance of structured discussion and hilarious shenanigans, much like what I've done with shows like HorsePLAY! LIVE and Timey-Wimey Tea Time. Topics cover a wide array of geeky/nerdy musings and random subject matter. Let's see... They've covered UFOs, Tesla, banana bread, and circus midgets.. I think. Also, Gidget is adorable. Swooning aside, I appreciate the authenticity of this show. Two everyday people going deep on topics they are genuinely interested in, rather than just trying to pander to a growing niche or popular demand. There's no airs of pretentious intelligence or anything. They keep this show super accessible and I LOVE that! Hey, maybe you guys can join #TheGANG over at GeekyAntics sometime.. We're always looking for new exclusive and syndicated shows. ;o)
