HOSTS, check your TalkShoe imbedded Widgets and Badges to be sure they are…

HOSTS, please check your TalkShoe imbedded Widgets and Badges to be sure they are currently working! There have been several reports from hosts who have found that the Widgets and Badges they have imbedded in their web page is not working today.

This appears to be occurring with Widgets and Badges which were created and inserted prior to August 20, 2010. Widgets and Badges created before this date use a third party protocol provided by Clear Spring and it has been announced that Clear Spring will no longer support that capability. As a result of that the TalkShoe Technical Team redesigned the Widgets and Badges so that they don’t use Clear Spring in August of this year. Therefore, if your Widget or Badge was deployed prior to August 20, 2010, it should be replaced.

Replace those old Widgets and Badges by going to your TalkShoe Show Page and clicking the Widgets and Badges link on the right side of the page. This will take you to a page where you can choose a format and obtain the code that should be imbedded in to your web page.

A ‘Display Ad Free’ Premium Option is now available to Show/Call Hosts.

This option provides an Ad Free version of your Show Page and Web Chat Client for ALL of your show’s participants.

HOW IT WORKS - The ‘Display Ad Free’ Premium Option is available by way of a monthly subscription. When a ‘Display Ad Free’ Premium Option Subscription is obtained for a Show/Call, all participants who join that Show/Call will view a version of the Show/Call Page and Web Chat Client which contain no display ads (i.e. no banner or text ads).

A ‘Display Ad Free’ Premium Option Subscription can be purchased by any Host for any Show/Call (public or private, listed or unlisted) and runs on a month-to-month basis. There is no long term contract required. That is, the ‘Display Ad Free’ Premium Option subscription can be canceled at any time. The subscription rate for this ‘Display Ad Free’ Premium Option is $14.95 per month. The $14.95 per month subscription rate covers one Show/Call ID and covers an unlimited number of Episodes of that Show/Call during each month.

HOW TO SUBSCRIBE -
1. Inform TalkShoe of the Show/Call ID that you wish to have set up as ‘Display Ads Free’ by sending the Show/Call ID in an email to: GoAdFree@talkshoe.com
