Saturday January 15th at 11am to 1pm Eastern Time
Friday January 21st at 10am to Noon Eastern Time
Thursday January 27th at 7 to 9pm Eastern Time

This session will consist of prepared material covering key topics of interest to New and Prospective TalkShoe Hosts. Periodically throughout the session the participants will be given an opportunity to ask questions. The material covered is basic and appropriate for individuals who are interested in becoming Show Hosts. Our philosophy is that no question is too simple!

” Setting up your Hosting Account
” Scheduling your First Episode
” Controlling your Show/Call from your Phone
” How to End/Terminate your Show/Call

HOSTS, check your TalkShoe imbedded Widgets and Badges to be sure they are…

HOSTS, please check your TalkShoe imbedded Widgets and Badges to be sure they are currently working! There have been several reports from hosts who have found that the Widgets and Badges they have imbedded in their web page is not working today.

This appears to be occurring with Widgets and Badges which were created and inserted prior to August 20, 2010. Widgets and Badges created before this date use a third party protocol provided by Clear Spring and it has been announced that Clear Spring will no longer support that capability. As a result of that the TalkShoe Technical Team redesigned the Widgets and Badges so that they don’t use Clear Spring in August of this year. Therefore, if your Widget or Badge was deployed prior to August 20, 2010, it should be replaced.

Replace those old Widgets and Badges by going to your TalkShoe Show Page and clicking the Widgets and Badges link on the right side of the page. This will take you to a page where you can choose a format and obtain the code that should be imbedded in to your web page.
